The Department of Biology currently offers a sequence of General Biology courses,
a sequence of Anatomy and Physiology courses, and a Microbiology course with other courses
possible when student interest is high. The Department also contributes to a sequence of Interdisciplinary
Science courses which encompass biology, chemistry, and physics. The Department currently has four full-time
faculty members which allows for small class sizes. Although lectures are a large part of each course,
the Department focuses on providing hands-on experiences through labs each week to facilitate the
learning process. The Biology faculty constantly challenge students and force  them to think for themselves.
The Department operates two laboratories in Dillard Hall, and one lab in the Dublin Center.
