Dublin Center Library
The Dublin Center Library provides vital information services
to that community and serves as an entry point for users to
access the full resources of the Cochran campus, the University
System of Georgia and the larger library world.

The Dublin Center Library is open on the following hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The library staff includes two full-time professional
librarians and various student assistants.
The general and reference collections consist of
approximately 5000 volumes and the library subscribes
to over two dozen periodicals. Through GALILEO,
patrons of the Dublin Center library also have access
to all the same electronic periodical indexes and other
online resources as do users at the Cochran campus.
The library also has a small collection of multimedia
mainly in the areas of nursing and mathematics. A
reserve collection is maintained.
The library has twelve networked computers which
patrons may use to access the online catalog, GALILEO
resources, the internet, and student e-mail. There is also
a computer lab in the library with thirteen computers.
Routine library orientations and bibliographic instruction are
offered to all students of the Dublin Center. Since the Dublin
Center is a joint operation of Middle Georgia College and
Georgia Southern University, Dublin students have
free and unrestricted access to the main libraries and the
services of these institutions. Interlibrary loan service is
available by way of intra-campus courier service, fax, UPS
next-day delivery, ARIEL and through the Cochran Campus
Library Webpage.
